Description
3D Visualisation is an art form and research methodology that specialises in visual communication of real-world data and stories. Led by Chris Rowland, the 3DVisLab is a multidisciplinary research group that engages the public through a data-driven, aesthetically considered 3D visualisation approach that negotiates the space between specialist insights and general audiences. This talk focuses on the renowned Subsea Visualisation research of Chris Rowland and award-winning Digital Engagement research of John Anderson. It will be an introduction to how structures and objects of the past are visualised, and their stories told.
