Wellcome Trust Reimagine Research Culture Townhall

Description

This Townhall forms part of a wider initiative to Reimagine Research, launched by Wellcome in 2019. By supporting great ideas to thrive, Wellcome has helped improve the health and lives of millions of people. However, this should not come at the expense of those who deliver that impact.

This event aims to create a space for the research community to come together to digest the Reimagine Research survey’s findings, reflect on what a better culture would look like, and share ideas for how to get there. The ideas that emerge from the Townhalls and our Café Culture discussion kit will directly inform the changes Wellcome will be making and help write a set of clear goals for ourselves and others. Themes drawn from the discussions will also be shared with participating institutions.
