    Description

Who Does Art Make Visible? was a public panel discussion informed by Suzanne Lacy’s involvement in the Working in Public Seminars (2006-8) organised by On The Edge Research (Gray’s School of Art), and the Scottish Arts Council (Creative Scotland) in partnership with Public Art Research+Resource (PAR+RS), that brought together artists, curators, arts administrators and community members to reflect on the current social and political contexts, the ethical approach and efficacy of social practice in contemporary arts and ask questions on the role of art in civic and political life in times of uncertainties.
