This means when someone dies who cannot be identified, their teeth can help build a story of the person’s life. Using dental profiling techniques, scientists can establish not only age, gender and race of an individual can be determined, but also information on their health, job, diet, family relationships as well as psychological characteristics. Café Science Dundee returns with an informal talk from forensic dentist Dr. Scheila Manica, who will share more insights from her career, followed by a question and answer session.
