Three morphometric characteristics from the cervical vertebrae were measured; maximum vertebral body height (CHT), maximum anterior-posterior diameter of vertebral foramen (CAP) and maximum transverse diameter of vertebral foramen (CTR). Separate measurements were taken for males and females from a white Scottish population.
