Dataset

Description

This dataset contains qualitative interview data which investigated interdisciplinary collaboration between sciences and the arts (with some other broad themes for comparative analysis). Participants from the discursive group interviews were staff members at the University of Dundee (UoD) involved in the doctoral research this dataset is related to. Participants from the informal interviews were not connected to the research directly or staff of the UoD, to allow comparative analysis methods to be conducted.

The dataset includes 'Discursive Group Interview' data and 'Informal Interview' data. Available to the public are the Ethics form templates, non-identifiable transcripts of the group interviews and notes and empathy maps from the informal interviews. The Excel files of interview codes and paraphrased statements have organised 'meaningful units' (MUs) identified in the transcripts into coded categories and paraphrased below the list of MUs, to show connections made for the purposes of the doctoral research.
