Description
This dataset contains the raw and processed absorbance data, standard curve measurements, and associated metadata supporting the development of a microplate-based methylene blue assay for quantifying poly-γ-glutamic acid (PGA) in Bacillus subtilis biofilm extracts.
The dataset includes:
· Raw absorbance spectra (400–800 nm) from microplate reader experiments
· Absorbance values at 564 nm and 664 nm used for PGA quantification
· Independent PGA standard curve replicates
· Background-corrected datasets
· Protein quantification (BCA assay) data used for normalisation
· Replicate information and regression equations used for concentration calculations
These data support the conclusions presented in the associated publication and enable reproducibility of the quantification method.
