Dataset

Description

This dataset includes data from recordings of the forced- and free-vibration response of the prototype structure of EuroProteas resting on embedded expanded polystyrene (EPS) slabs, as a geotechnical seismic isolation. The instrumentation comprised high-resolution accelerometers, seismometers, and laser displacement sensors. The instruments were placed on the soil surface around the foundation, inside the EPS slabs, on the foundation and on the roof of EuroProteas. The dynamic forced-vibration tests covered a wide range of frequencies (1 to 10Hz) and amplitudes (0.1kN to 20kN), whereas the pull-out (free-vibration) tests covered a range of force amplitudes up to 15kN.
