I received my BSc in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde in 2017. For my final year project I conducted research, under the UK Space Agency, to analyse nitrogen levels in soils and evaluated methods for sample preparation, initial screening, and quality control which were applicable for use on remote robotic-borne Martian analysis systems.
I took a year out during my undergraduate studies to work in a chemistry consultancy. I worked across a wide range of projects, working in multidisciplinary teams, liaising directly with clients and offering personalised and novel solutions for research and development.
I am currently a full-time PhD student at the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science; studying the thermal disruption of the physical and chemical properties of porcine ribs.
