Biography

Her lecturer career has been varied having secured lecturer posts for Marie Curie (Edinburgh) and then as a Macmillan lecturer/ practitioner.  Her most past role included Lead for Quality/ Deputy Head for the Royal Marsden School. She also completed her PhD studies entitled “the older person with cancer; a qualitative study of two ward settings”. She has presented at National and International conferences on person-centred care for the older person with cancer (keynote and plenary). She has published in peer-reviewed journals and books. Her current roles include Module leader for undergraduate and post-registration modules in research and older people care. Her research interests include the older person with frailty and older people living with cancer.
