Biography

Caroline Brown is Programme Leader for the distance learning archives and family history programmes at the University of Dundee. She is also University Archivist and an assistant director in the Library & Learning Centre and Culture & Information at the University. She has authored a number of articles and chapters on archival themes as well as editing a book for Facet, Archives and Recordkeeping: theory into practice (2014). She has served on a number of professional and academic bodies and is currently a Trustee of the Scottish Council on Archives and a Director of the Scottish Archive Network.
