Research
My research into the epidemiology of infections, antimicrobial use and antimicrobial resistance generates and evaluates evidence to support changes in policy and practice, and evaluates the impact of changes in policy. This research often involves secondary use of population and health care data and novel data linkage, including with bacterial genomics. I also lead and collaborate in broad multidisciplinary research involving social scientists and basic scientists.
