Biography

Charles Turkson joined the University of Dundee in 2022 as a Lecturer in Business Analytics. Prior to this role, he was a Lecturer at the University of Kent and has had previous roles in the University of Cape Coast and the University of Ghana and the Hong Kong Baptist University. He holds a PhD in Management Science from the University of Kent.

Research

Charles has research interest primarily in Performance Analytics. Which is the use of mathematical programming (Data Envelopment Analysis) in efficiency and productivity analysis. He also has interests in Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, Environmental Assessments, Sustainability and Sustainable Development and Operational Research, with applications in Financial Analytics, Energy & Environment, Healthcare and Supply Chains.
