Teaching

Christine Kingsley is a design educator and researcher in Design Pedagogy at the University of Dundee. Undergraduates at DJCAD have been understanding the changing role of design graduates in the 21st century through modules designed for social innovation and collaboration within the local communities that Dundee University thrives. A champion of the philosophy of co-design and fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the RSA’s  6 challenges for Education defines her teaching and learning practice and development of curriculum change in DJCAD.

Awarded the University of Dundee 2011-12 senate award for teaching excellence in teaching, Christine is working with a multidisciplinary team at the University of Dundee to develop a methodology to prepare students across HE to landscape their learning through visualisation. As a member of the Quality Enhancement Team, she is working on flexible learning in HE and resulting change from the implementation of the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.
