Biography

Dr Daryll Archibald has a PhD in Health Geography from the University of St-Andrews, an MRes in Social Research Methods from the University of Aberdeen, and a BA (hons) in Psychology and Sociology from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. He further holds a Postgraduate Cert. in Academic Practice in Higher Education from the University of Dundee and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Research

Dr Archibald is an established scholar in the fields of weight management and physical activity for health. His current work centres on promoting health and well-being in autistic adults with a focus on physical activity, weight management, and workplace inclusion. He possesses expertise in a range of evidence synthesis approaches, the design and evaluation of complex health interventions and mixed-methods research.
