Derya Asi has been teaching in higher education specifically in early childhood education field as a developmental psychologist for about 19 years. Her research interests mainly focuses on social and emotional competencies of young children, evidence based intervention programs relating to those competencies, child-practitioner relationships, and classroom quality.
