Biography

I am a Lecturer (Teaching and Research) at the Centre for Forensic and Legal Medicine, University of Dundee, and serve as the Programme Lead for the full-time MSc and Master’s programmes in Forensic Odontology at the School of Dentistry.

I have experience in providing forensic dental expertise in cases involving human identification, dental age estimation, disaster victim identification (DVI), child abuse and vulnerable person abuse, dental malpractice and negligence, dental anthropology, and 2D and 3D facial approximation and craniofacial superimposition.

My qualifications include BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), MSc (Forensic Odontology), LLB (Bachelor of Law), Dip.FHID (Diploma in Forensic Human Identification) and a PhD in Forensic Sciences

I am a Forensic Odontology Expert with the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP).
