Biography
Jing Chen is currently undertaking a PhD in education at the University of Dundee. Her research focuses on children's emotional intelligence, parenting styles, family education and childhood education.
PhD project title: The relationship between the social-emotional development in preschool children, and parenting styles
Before coming to the UK, she worked in an education centre in Beijing, where she led a team that independently developed family education courses and worked with more than 2,000 nurseries in China. She has trained more than 5,000 nursery school staffs. She is also a shareholder in the training centre and one of the founders of the centre’s family education project.
