Biography

Joyce Klu is Lecturer in Forensic Statistics at the Leverhulme Centre for Forensic Science (LRCFS). Prior to joining LRCFS, Joyce worked as a Trial Medical Statistician at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford and a Research Assistant in Data Science at the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, University of Reading. Joyce holds an MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford and a DPhil in Statistics from the University of Oxford. At LRCFS Joyce will be using her knowledge of statistics to probe existing statistical methodologies in forensic science in order to find improvements. Her research focuses on uncertainty analysis and quantification for measurements.
