Biography

Lauren England joined DJCAD as a Baxter Fellow in Creative Economies in the summer of 2020.

Her PhD investigated professional development in craft higher education and early-career craft entrepreneurship. Lauren’s PhD was a collaborative doctorate with Crafts Council UK.

She is currently involved in projects investigating sustainable business and creative practices, the development of Creative Economies in Africa and the future of fashion design in Africa.
