Biography

Dr. Majed Wadi is a Senior Lecturer in Teaching and Research at the Centre for Medical Education, School of Medicine, University of Dundee. With an MBChB background, Dr. Wadi is a dedicated medical educationist with over a decade of experience in student assessment and wellbeing.

Teaching

Dr. Wadi is actively involved in teaching and has organized and delivered various courses, including Medical Education, Professionalism, Medical Ethics, and Biostatistics. Moreover, he led more numerous training sessions on assessment planning; including blueprint design at both the basic and advanced levels and constructing high quality assessment methods such as MCQs and OSCE.

Research

Dr. Wadi's research focuses on student assessment, psychometrics, progress testing, student wellbeing, and curriculum development. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on these topics. He also serves on the editorial board and reviewer in BMC Medical Education, Frontier in Health Profession Education, and Education in Medicine Journals.
