My research area is financial harm with in an adult protection context. The area of financial harm is extremely complex due to the wider variance in the way people can be financially harmed. The overall aim is to understand the decision making processes and the micro decisions that take place between multi agency workers. It looks at the definition of financial harm or abuse and the prevelence studies, along with the limitations of the current data collection methods. Using a q sort to gather initial data, focus groups are used to explore the decisions further.
