Biography
I am a historian of modern Russia and have published widely on the history of Russian theatre and society. My current research deals with crime and policing during the Russian Civil War, considered in the broader context of how states and societies respond to revolutionary transformations.
I am currently the Associate Dean for Research & Scholarship in the School of Humanities.
