Dr Sarah Hulme is a lecturer at the University of Dundee working in the school of Education and Social Work. She studied at the University of St Andrews, University of Nottingham and University of Dundee to gain her undergraduate degree in Psychology, PhD in Developmental Psychology and MSc in Educational Psychology. She has worked as an Educational Psychologist in Local Authorities since 2004. She has worked as an independent Educational Psychologist offering consultancy, training and assessment since 2016. Dr Hulme also works as a partner to the Health and Care Professions Council to ensure that training programmes meet HCPC Educational and Training Standards.
Dr Hulme teaches on the MSc Educational Psychology programme and the MEd programme. She has a number of supervisory responsibilities and is currently supervising Phd and Professional Doctorate students as well as research within the MSc programme.
Research interests include Practitioner and Professional Identities, Narrative approaches and Early years.
