Song Xue is a Ph.D. student in the School of Education and Social Work. Before joining the faculty at the University of Dundee, He got his degree in two disciplines: Chemistry (BSc) and Education (MA) in China and got the national teaching Certificate: Grade 10-12 Chemistry. His research interests are science education, the nature of the scientific model, developing a technology-supported modelling scenario to promote students (K-12 and preservice teachers) learning/teaching science. His tentative doctoral thesis title is developing the Pre-service science teachers’ modelling competence through technology-supported model scenarios.
