Biography

Professor Susan Lilico Kinnear is a former journalist (Thomson Reuters and Trinity Mirror), who held senior communications roles in both the public and private sectors before moving into academia. She has delivered contracts for the UK government, blue chip companies, charities, regional development agencies and international organisations.

A Chartered Manager, Chartered PR and CIPR Senior Examiner, Professor Kinnear was also appointed as a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and Chartered Institute of Marketing, as well as the Royal Society for Arts and Commerce, in recognition of her contribution to the profession through communications consultancy and education.

A specialist in international and digital marketing, Susan holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, UK, and publishes on both communications education and global communication practice.
