Biography

Tim Croudace

Tim Croudace is Professor of Applied Health Research at the Uni of Dundee, and based in the School of Health Sciences.

He has a background in experimental and applied psychology and expertise in public mental health research and health-care evaluation (particularly in conjunction with mental health services researchers).

Tim specialises in research capacity building and is active in several roles (panel member, co-chair, deputy chair & chair) on funding/fellowship panels for major UK funders as well as advising on research leadership development programmes for the NIHR Academy and internally as a member of the Oversight Group for the WT IFRC award.

He mentors for several schemes (locally and nationally) and particularly enjoys this part of his job.

His current research involves cluster RCTs (iDiabetes) and work on mental health in the UK (NIHR TYPPEX Programme Grant) and internationally e.g. in Uganda (as co-supervisor of Adrian Kakinda (Psychology) as part of Dundee's Africa Doctoral Fellowship Scheme (ADFS).
