Valentina Panci holds a BSc in Archaeology from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, and a certificate for the specialisation course in Bioarchaeology, Forensic Anthropology and Paleophatology from the University of Bologna. She also holds a MSc degree in Anatomy and Advanced Forensic Anthropology from the University of Dundee.
She started her PhD in November 2018 at the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science, investigating a new methodology for living age estimation using magnetic resonance images of the hand/wrist.
