Lucy Robertson, Interactive Textiles for Wellbeing
Images of Research is an annual competition that challenges researchers to capture their work in a single image, alongside a short description. We ran this competition for the first time in 2020.
For our 2020 Images of Research competition, we challenged our postgraduate researchers to portray their research in a single image, along with a 50 word description.
Our research theme categories were based on the University's four interdisciplinary research themes:
Understanding and improving health and wellbeing Life-enhancing creativity and design Innovating technological solutions to tomorrow's problems Promoting social change to enhance diversity, justice and socio-economic prosperity
Our judging panel awarded an overall first prize, two overall runner up prizes, and a commendation for each research theme category.
