Tassie Medallion of Adam Smiith

In 1973 Kirkcaldy Town Council established the Tassie Medallion of Adam Smith, to commemorate the birth of the famous political economist in the town in 1723. A copy of the medallion was awarded to the most distinguished student of Political Economy at the University that year and in subsequent years.
