In countries where the number of IDPs have increased due to climate change, how have transitional shelter communities adapted their shelters for longer-term use? By documenting the patterns that emerge in these ‘un’-transitional shelter sites, what are the most effective strategies to improve living standards?
This award covers travel costs to Tacloban City, Philippines, Karachi, Pakistan and Kaharanmaras, Turkeye to document shelter programs, specifically how the beneficiary has changed and adapted their environment. This will be captured through film, still image, interviews, drawings and maps.
