Abstract
Modeling and modeling are important components of the chemistry core literacy. Computer-aided modeling is visual, can create an inquiry learning environment, and plays an important role in teachers guiding students to build models and learn concepts. Based on the advantages of computer-aided modeling, we carry out exploratory teaching that focuses on student participation and allows students to model independently. Taking "chemical reaction rate" as an example, the computer modeling tool SageModeler is selected as an auxiliary technology, focusing on the establishment, evaluation, development and optimization of mental models, aiming at improving students' understanding of the nature of models through modeling teaching and developing students' modeling skills concepts and abilities to develop a clear understanding of chemical reaction rates.
