Abstract
We introduce the 4C Database, a Web 2.0 case study database repository that facilitates performing cross-case analysis between case studies stored in it. We present the design motivations and technical structure of 4C, along with a discussion of how it supports our design philosophy. We also explain the two sets of studies conducted with a total of 17 participants to evaluate 4C and its key features. We conclude this paper with a report of our observations.
