    Abstract

    This chapter provides comprehensive information concerning the use of immunohistochemistry in breast pathology. It starts with outlining the general principles and quality assurance issues that should be followed concerning tissue fi xation and processing and result interpretation. Various antibodies used for the diagnosis of breast diseases including those used for providing prognostic and predictive information are then dealt with individually supported by ample illustrations.
