author = "Chris Reed and Glenn Rowe",
note = "Araucaria is a software tool for analysing, representing and manipulating argument. Argument is becoming increasingly important (evidenced by new conference and workshop series) in AI in domains such as multi-agent systems, natural language processing and defeasible reasoning. Across these domains, the ability to analyse arguments into machine readable representations is vital, and Araucaria has become the de facto standard for doing this. It is in use in both teaching and research contexts in over 1000 schools, colleges and universities in over 50 countries, and is also being deployed for use by 400 magistrates across the magistracy of the Province of Ontario.
