Abstract

Are we there yet...? (The long and arduous route from pub-based researchers to published researchers)
On the 4th March 2013 three early career lecturers began working on their first piece of independent research as academics, it was finally published on the 7th June 2016 (1226 days later). The study focuses on the transition from school teacher to university lecturer. The presentation considers the process and challenges of becoming a published academic author.
