"This exhibition features 40 artists from different latitudes, who meet here at the Museum of Nature of Cantabria, and in the Carrejo area, to honor the planet, through 80 works of their authorship, to remind us that we are all part of it and that we should be in balance with the place we live in, respect it and respect ourselves.
The inhabitants of Carrejo have once again joined the exhibition by providing their windows, doors and entrances of their houses holding part of these works, making the Museum extend into a vital network that transports its message beyond its walls.
We feel very excited and proud with the quality of the exhibition and with the commitment that each artist has in its work with nature.
We are convinced that it is the way... beauty attracts us, captures our attention, makes us aware of the fragility of beautiful things, makes us fall in love.
Only love for our space will allow us to care for it and protect it... save it.
The preservation, dissemination and care of nature is the reason for being of the Cantabria Nature Museum and the works presented in this Fourth Edition honor it and share, from an aesthetic and emotional point of view, its mission: Preserve and protect Nature, of which we are, without a doubt, a part.
We have the honor of having, again in this edition, Marisa Caichiolo, an independent curator based in Los Angeles, USA, as Guest Curator.
Thank you very much for making it possible."
