    With the job of design researcher comes a responsibility to engage, dynamically, with a wide range of design (thinking, theory, history, methods, process, philosophy) writings. And, recently with the rise in prevalence of design thinking and service design for example, you could be forgiven for believing that (at a glance) Kamil Michlewski’s book, ‘Design Attitude’ is simply another addition to this now relatively well-versed popular conversation. Yet it would be amiss to do so. You see, Michlewski does something different; he offers a genuinely alternative dimension to the design dialogue with an emphasis on the cultural dimension rather than process, tools and learning style – the ecosystem that is people, their nuances, behaviours, relationships, values, mind-sets and languages...
