Bracketing the target: the citation of multi-volume Session Cases

    Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

    Abstract

Discusses, in light of the first time that the Session Cases have been published in a multi volume format, the issue of how cases are to be cited. Considers the standard form of citation in Scotland, how the Scots Law Times deals with multi volume citation, the precedents found in the nineteenth century nominate Session Cases reports, and the precedent provided in England and Wales by the English Law Reports. Makes suggestions on how to cite multi volume Session Cases. © 2011 Sweet & Maxwell
