Abstract
Philip Braham | Closer to Home
Perth Museum & Art Gallery
30th April - 6th June 2021
Closer to Home is inspired by the artist Philip Braham’s recent move from Edinburgh to Crieff and represents a process of exploring and discovering the rich and culturally complex landscape at the boundary of Highland and Lowland Perthshire.
This collection of paintings and photographs invites us to question our relationship with the land; its seasons and rhythms and consider how we construct and project ideas of ‘home.’
Philip Braham is an RSA Guthrie Award-winning artist and Programme Director for Art and Philosophy at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design
