Abstract

This double CD set, "Connecting lines: Artists talk about drawing" was compiled using extracts from National Life Stories' "Artists' Lives" oral history collection. These CDs celebrates 20 years of Artists' Lives activity, reflecting the changing attitudes to drawing within British art education in the 20th and 21st centuries and provide a commentary on the role of drawing in the practice of working artists.
