Architectural Survey Drawings of Cumbernauld Town Centre including measured plans, sections, elevations, site plans, and interactive model in CAD and PDF formats.
14 drawings total, for printing on A1 sheets.
These drawings were produced by the rooms and cities design research unit in the Architecture and Urban Planning Programme at the University of Dundee by the following students:
Saoirse Stenhouse, Martyna Przybolewska, Lee McIlroy, Remy McLeod, and Sean O' Tiarnaigh, under the direction of Lorens Holm.
To our knowledge, these are the only accessible survey drawings of Cumbernauld in the public realm. They were subsequently licensed to the Glasgow Institute of Architects for use in a competition on the future of Cumbernauld sponsored by the GIA, without which, this competition would not be possible.
