Abstract

Ground-breaking international moving image and performance festival, 'Visions in the Nunnery', opening with Dryden Goodwin and including artists Marina Abramović’, Ori Gersht, Mikhail Karikis, Richard Layzell and Uriel Orlow. Shemilt will be closing the exhibition close with a re-enactment of the emblematic video work Döppelganger, part of a series started in 1974, three of which were exhibited at the Video Show at the Serpentine Gallery in May 1975. 'Doppelgänger Redux' is curated by Laura Leuzzi and produced by Adam Lockhart. The Festival is curated by Cinzia Cremona and Tessa Garland.
