Abstract
This report discusses the synergies between arts-based pedagogies and experiential natural education in early childhood and shows how effective curriculum integration in these areas is in supporting increased content about, and understandings of, the human/nature connection. Based on research, a pedagogical tool is included that provides principles, reflections for pedagogy and recommendation for practice in early childhood settings. This tool has been trialled in early childhood settings in Australia and the USA and the report includes the findings from this trial.
