Abstract
Monte Carlo simulations of a two-dimensional bilayer quantum Heisenberg antiferromagnet were presented. The quantum phase transition in the system was characterized by finite-order fixed point with power-law scaling. Universal critical exponents were found after accounting for corrections to scaling. The consequences of the findings were discussed and new experiments were suggested.
