Abstract

This collection contains selected undergraduate dissertations and abstracts from final-year students in Fine Art and Art & Philosophy at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD), part of the University of Dundee. It was published to coincide with the DJCAD Degree Show 2026, and represents a curated snapshot of current undergraduate research and practice in the visual arts and interdisciplinary humanities.

QR codes were generated to sit alongside the exhibited work, allowing visitors to link directly to the dissertations and underpinnig research.

Published by Open Research & Publishing at the University of Dundee Library, this open-access volume used Open Journal System software to increase the discoverability and long-term accessibility of this undergraduate research. 

The collection highlights the intellectual and creative contributions of the 2026 graduating cohort and supports ongoing engagement with student research in Art and Design at the University of Dundee.
