Abstract

The “Footloose” collection.

This collection invited artists/creators to watch the music video for the film "Footloose" by Herbert Ross and to create a "Remake" (portable or not) of one of the pairs of shoes that parade in the music video by Kenny Loggins - Footloose (Official Video) (there are around 80 pairs visible in this clip).

You can see: ankle boots, boots, moccasins, sneakers, monks, derbies, sandals, stilettos, pumps....

The anthropological history of shoes is rich and vast, for this collection, the focus is also on popular references such as the film Footloose, the Avengers, the "Dirty boots" songs by Sonic Youth, “These boots are made for walking” by Nancy Sinatra or or some movie scenes with shoes in the history of cinema:"Kinky Boots", "the Cobler", "Belle de jour", "The Wonderful Wizard of OZ", "The Gold Rush", " Back to the future"....

Each patch is produced in 2 colors with the theme: shoes . The theme is free rein (carte blanche) , the shoe object is not exhaustive. A place can also be given to manufacturing or repair tools, machines, materials, shapes, imprints, words, brands, etc.

Production
Each coat of arms will be published in 60 copies

In addition I was invited to produce an illustration for a stamp to announce the new collection. This is an international letter weight stamp.
