Abstract

The guanine nucleotide binding proteins p21 ras are activated by the T-cell antigen receptor and play a critical role in transducing signals from the T-cell receptor to the cell nucleus. The mechanism that couples the T-cell receptor to p21ras is the focus of many current studies, but is as yet unidentified.
