Abstract

This workshop is aimed at delegates who have had little or no practical experience in a virtual world and will be facilitated by workshop leaders with extensive experience of both introducing people to Second Life and of mentoring new users. Participants will be split into two groups. Those delegates with little or no previous experience in a virtual world will be given a hands-on introduction to Second Life, whilst delegates with some experience of Second Life will be provided with guided support to explore a range of tools and resources for learning and teaching in Second Life.
