Abstract
The Concrete Technology Unit's triennial Congress, Global Construction: Ultimate Concrete Opportunities, was held in Dundee. Organized in collaboration with the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), and the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE), the Congress was also supported by 50 professional engineering institutions. The Congress consisted of ten events covering a board range of concrete-related topics addressing the main challenges and opportunities that concrete is facing. The Dundee Congresses have encouraged synergy between industry and research institutions to champion concrete construction on a global scale.
